Pondering Dean
I was sitting here contemplating whether I'd rather explore pre-6.07 Dean or post-6.07 Dean when something occured to me...

If SPN is (as I would posit) Sam's story told from Dean's POV, couldn't the alleged dickish behavior we've witnessed lately be self-referential? By virtue of being filtered through Dean's POV, is it not possible that the narrative is colored by the judgment he inflicts on himself. Plus, he doesn't have Sam whole and functional to reflect his goodness back at him and so his self-image is skewed by the absence of Sam's soul.

I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility. Especially considering this season's focus so far on differing reflections and the importance of self.

Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I'm not. Maybe I don't care and there will be more on this later regardless of my relative sanity.
