Thoughts of the day:
  • I am only one person. Please remember that when scheduling an ERP upgrade and a network conversion for the same period of time. These projects are both mine now and I cannot attend to them at the same time. I'm pretty fucking good at multi-tasking, but I'm not that good. You, work, can kiss my arse.

  • Mongolian stirfry is better with the meaty bits.

  • Maybe the one true God can tell me why Caprica didn't make it, because I sure as hell don't know. I get that it was ratings, yes. But it was smart, subtle, and often surprising. It had the legs to be what I've always loved best about sci-fi fusion shows. The other half and I mainlined the last five episodes tonight and I can't count the number of times I actually said out loud, "Why did this show get canceled again?"

  • I miss Smitey!Cas. I'm jumping around on my re-watch. Last night was Lazarus Rising and tonight was Are You There God...?. I love that the character has evolved, but I miss the zing, the righteous angel that made Dean frakking Winchester avert his eyes.

  • I should be writing. I want to be writing. I am too mentally exhausted to write anything decent tonight. In that vein, if there's anyone else who'd like to be on the filter for my [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang, let me know.

  • Sometimes, being the eldest child of a batshit narcissist sucks eggs.

  • *starts compiling the Mob fanmix* Jelly Roll Morton, how I've missed ye. Now I'm going to dream about flappers.
